The US Open was held on October 23-25, 2014 for the first time in several years. Congratulations to Midwest’s very own Jill Smith and Cole Kalkbrenner for being invited to ski with the best in water skiing. Jill Smith tricked 3590 points in the preliminary round at Lake Grew in Polk City, FL. Cole Kalkbrenner jumped 161 feet in the preliminary round. Nate Smith also competed in the event and won men’s slalom with 1 at 43 off.
