Qualification: Advancement to Regionals is based on the Ranking List. All skiers ranked Level 6 in any event or overall as of January 8th, 2018 qualify for Regionals.
At the Cut Off Date the Ranking List Average of the last ranked skier in each division in slalom, tricks, jump and overall will be established as the Cut Off Average (COA) for that division.

Last Chance Qualification: After the Cut Off Date any skiers not qualified via the Ranking List may still qualify for Regionals through 3 last chance qualifying methods (LCQs):
1. Increases your average equal to or above the COA any time after the Cut Off Date.
2. Record a score equal to or above the COA at any tournament class (C) or above after the Cut Off Date.
3. Place in the top 3 at your State Tournament.

Entry Fee and Deadlines: In an effort to receive earlier entries we will have a tiered late fee in 2018.

-July 1st deadline $95 1 event /$110 2 events/$120 3 events. $245 family of 3, each skier > 3 $70/skier.

-July 2nd-July 23rd is a $25 late fee (except those who qualify after July 1st or anyone skiing on their state team, use code CCTCW in club member code to wave $25 late fee).

-After July 23rd, additional $10/day late fee on top of the above.

Remember entry fees are fully refundable for those who fail to qualify so we encourage you to register early.

All skiers must check in on site.  Skiers who have NOT met all entry requirements MUST complete their entry requirements no later than 30 min. prior to their first event. Bring your email receipt as back up documentation.

Practice: Thurs. after boat tests until 8:30pm, Friday after tournament until 8:30pm. Saturday after tournament until 6:30pm due to banquet.

Comments: Council meeting Thursday 1pm. Judges meeting/dinner Thursday 6:30pm. Both on site.

Friday Night-Activities TBD.

Banquet: Saturday, July 28, 7:30 pm -No ticket necessary for skiers but attendance MUST BE INDICATED ON YOUR ENTRY. Additional tickets available for $15.

Based on the new cutoff date change for regionals, our web programmer has made the midwest regional qualifications live, he was not able to go retro active back to Aug 14, 2017 so he made the cutoff date today. So skiers can go and see if they are qualified now, just select the midwest regional in the tournament qualification filter and the far right column of rankings will show qualified or not.
 
To refresh our memories on the new entry deadline, the regional entry deadline is July 1st, after July 1st its a $25 late fee until July 23rd at which point the late fee is $25 plus $10 per day. The only except to all that is for skier who qualify after July 1st, they are only subject to the $10 per day after July 23rd. We will need good word of mouth on this new late fee and deadline structure.
